We are very sorry for the short notice, but the August 26th Healing Circle has been cancelled.

Join diversity and equity leaders from Olmsted County and the City of Rochester in a healing circle which offers  a safe space to explore issues of cultural differences.

The focus of this session will be intersectionality. Intersectionality is the interconnected nature of social categorizations (or identities) such as race, class, and gender as they apply to a given individual or group, regarded as creating overlapping and interdependent systems.  None of us are one dimensional, and we all have many identities that we hold dear.  Through intersectionality we can better understand how all of our identities come together (some with privilege and some without), leading to our experiences, perspectives, and life views.
