Coming to the Table Circles

Join diversity and equity leaders from Olmsted County and the City of Rochester in a healing circle which offers  a safe space to explore issues of cultural differences. Registration is strongly recommended but not required.  Priority for the limited 25 seats will be given to those who have registered.

The focus of this session will be historical trauma.  Wikipedia defines historical trauma as “the cumulative emotional harm of an individual or generation caused by a traumatic experience or event. Historical Trauma Response (HTR) refers to the manifestation of emotions and actions that stem from this trauma.” Together we’ll learn about historical trauma and how it impacts individuals and entire groups of people.
