Program Description

Event Description

Tân Phḁm was born in Vietnam and escaped shortly before the fall of Saigon at age 12.  He now lives in La Crosse, Wisconsin and has returned to Vietnam with his family many times over the past 20 years.  He remembers fondly the spring rolls his mother would make and will teach you how to make them as well. Each class member will make three spring rolls and receive a recipe to take home.  As you eat your creations, Tan will share with you Vietnamese culture and will discuss food experiences from big cities to small villages, from restaurants to backyard garden table meals. Tan is the owner of Cuisine Adventure Tours and takes inspired visitors to see his homeland.
