Join Superintendent Muñoz for a referendum presentation and Question and Answer Session on Monday, September 23, 7pm in the Rochester Public Library Auditorium. You can also learn more about the referendum facts by visiting the website (rochesterschools.org/referendum). Rochester Public Schools is running a bonding referendum on November 5th. Two questions will be on the ballot. The first question addresses the District’s capacity issue at our elementary and middle schools, upgrades safety and security at all schools, and enhances educational support spaces at our high schools. Question two addresses the swimming pools at the high school level and closes the pools at the middle school level.
A League of Women Voters moderator will introduce Superintendent Muñoz who will give the presentation. During this time, LWV volunteers will be collecting questions from the audience and verifying their validity using the guidelines we use for candidate forums. After the presentation is complete, the moderator will ask Mr Muñoz the questions. We will also be accepting questions on our Facebook page prior to this. We hope in this way to have time to answer more questions without repeating issues.
This informational forum is co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters and the Rochester Public Library.
