Join author Dr. Tyner, founder of Planting People Growing Justice Leadership Institute (PPGJLI) in conversation with Anoka County Librarian and Minnesota Library Association President, Stacey Hendren.
PPGJLI seeks to plant seeds of social change through education, training, and community outreach. They address the challenges of promoting literacy and increasing diversity in children’s books.
"Justice Makes a Difference: The Story of Miss Freedom Fighter, Esquire", written by Dr. Artika Tyner and Jacklyn Milton won the inaugural Communities Create contest of the Minnesota Author Project award in 2020.
