Participating in Seed Preservation with Seed Savers Exchange

Primary tabs

Age Group: Adults, Seniors

Event Description

Kathryn Gilbery, the Exchange Coordinator from Seed Savers Exchange, will share how our founders' dream of sharing family heirlooms with other gardeners grew into an organization renowned for conserving and promoting America's endangered garden and food crop heritage by collecting, growing, and sharing heirloom seeds and plants. Also, learn how Master Gardeners can share their horticultural knowledge and skills by sharing seeds through the Exchange or becoming a mentor through the Community Seed Network.

This project was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
