Have some fun learning how to create artworks using water-mixable oils, a fairly new media which does not use volatile organic solvents but takes on the appearance of traditional oil paintings when dried. This class offers a workshop format over two consecutive sessions within the same weekend, with the goal of helping participants learn how to begin or to be able to create better landscape paintings. Participants should plan to take their painting home at the conclusion of their second workshop session.

Local artist Rita LeDuc and her husband Paul will be teaching this two part landscape painting class.  

Rita LeDuc is a fiscal year 2024 recipient of a Creative Individuals grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature; and by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
